Cedah moving on to high school

We are so pleased with both our children in the USA, they have adapted well and after a full year at school both have come out with some amazing grades, both came out with grades in the 90's and Darcy has moved into a pace maths group for next year ( Year 8 maths rather than year 7) and Cedah is doing Pre-AP Human Science, Biology and Spanish. Great work from both of them.

End of Year and Cedah has her graduation party.

Of course not to leave out my eldest, Jessica, she last year qualified as a Paediatric nurse from University and is now out in the real world working for a living :)

Sea World San Antonio

The weeks holiday was action packed! Day 2 and we are off to Sea World, this time we stop at Cracker Barrel for breakfast :)

Quite expensive to get in and we only did the Sea World park and not the water park, I found a discount on Groupon but was still $35 a head.

It was a very warm day at 95 but enough shade not to worry, the kids, older ones included enjoyed the rides. Darcy is at last big enough to go on aqll of them which really pleased her.

Houston Space Center

Its been awhile since we last posted, I have taken a week off work and my eldest daughter was over from the UK with her partner, Ryan.

We decide to do a day trip from Austin to the Houston Space Center, we left around 6:30 and stopped off at a Denny's for breakfast, arriving at the Space Center about 10:30. We purchased tickets online $17 a head, which was not too bad.

It is a good day out and was worth the drive, you get to see some space rockets and the shuttle, along with a 2 hour tour around the Houston mission control and the Saturn V hanger shown above.
